Sierra Leone Roads Authority (SLRA) Organizational Structure
The Sierra Leone Roads Authority (SLRA) operates under a well-defined organizational structure designed to ensure effective management and oversight of the country’s road infrastructure. At the apex is the SLRA Board, guiding the overall strategic direction.
The operational leadership is headed by the Director General, supported by the Deputy Director General. They oversee multiple departments, each led by Directors responsible for specific functional areas:

- Internal Controls and Monitoring
Ensures compliance and performance evaluation through dedicated departments led by Directors and supported by Deputy Directors. - Administrative and Technical Divisions
Includes key areas such as Urban Roads, Trunk Roads, Feeder Roads, Bridges & Ferries, and Environment & Social Services, each with specialized divisions for maintenance, rehabilitation, and project implementation. - Financial Management
Oversees donor-funded and government-funded projects, managing accounts and financial operations. - Engineering and Policy Research
Focuses on survey, data collection, geotechnical studies, policy planning, and research activities. - Road Asset Management
Responsible for managing data, roads, bridges, traffic safety, and facilities. - Communications and Procurement
Handles information dissemination, communication services, and procurement processes.
