The Director General of the Sierra Leone Roads Authority (SLRA), Ing. Alfred Jalil Momodu, has disclosed that Bonthe–Mattru Road will be completed by December 2026.
He made this announcement on Tuesday, 2nd June, 2026, during the Civic Day Festival organized by the Ministry of Information and Civic Education in Pujehun District, where he was applauded for major road achievements across the country.
Speaking at the event, Ing. Momodu expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Information and Civic Education for providing a national platform that fosters accountability, dialogue, and citizen participation.
